The first time I visited Amsterdam was last winter and I was very disappointed because there was nothing interesting going on and I wanted to spice up my work trip a bit. Yes, this city is very beautiful architecturally and of course the Madame Tussauds museum deserves attention. But I would have liked something more beautiful and exciting. When does the tourist season start in Amsterdam?

In fact, there are always a lot of tourists in Amsterdam. Some come for the Madame Tussauds museum, some come for the brewery tour. By the way, I did that last time too, I found a tour of the Heineken brewery on GetExperience https://getexperience.com/netherlands-amsterdam . Indeed, the taste between the beer from there and what we buy in bottles is significantly different. For me personally, one of the highlights of Amsterdam when it's really full of tourists is the Parade of Colors. And there is a lot to see - craftsmen come to this festival to show their skills in growing flowers and making various living sculptures out of them.
