Pre-Write Any Emergency Text Messages
#1
When you're in an emergency situation, the last thing you want to do or have time to do is text out your important message. Text messaging is important because you may be unable to talk to the person or the signal could be too weak to get that phone call out; however, it's still powerful enough to send out text messages so you can get help. Messages you can write out include "Call For Help" or "I'm In Trouble, Need Help Now", etc. Save these messages as drafts so you can quickly get access to them. Have a Twitter account? You can send them using your used blackberry so that the message goes out to all the people on your list. Someone is bound to read it and act quickly. phone number list

For people with new or used Samsung cell phones, these pre-programmed text messages are very helpful. Newer models are installed with an emergency feature that allows you to program the phone and send out your pre-written messages to 10 contacts by pressing the volume button a total of four times. When a person from that contact list replies back, the phone will, by design, connect without you needing to touch a button. This kind of feature would be good to have on all brands of cellular phones.

When we are in an emergency situation, our minds are already preoccupied about a potential outcome. For that reason, any little thing that can be done before the emergency is most helpful. It reduces your distractions and enables you to deal with the emergency you are facing. By taking the above pre-emptive steps, you'll make a big difference during a crisis situation.
